back to back ONS15310 CL

I'm new to SONET and our fiber project is still in the backhoe stage, but the equipment is here. Anyone have suggestions on powering up our two 15310 in a back to back arrangment that will not overun the optics. is there a simple 1+1 config to test the ONS products? thanks Brad

Best thing would be to get a couple of fixed attenuators (20 dB or so should do it - verify via the specifications for TX and RX levels) and put those inline with your boxes' inputs. These are avaialble from most telecom suppliers for less than US$100 each.
