Coming off of the ONS 15454 to a 7206 with a channelized ds3 card (PA-MC-T3), does the ONS card have to be a DS3XM card or can I use a standard DS3 card? I need the channelization to split off the T1's. If you need more info or if I didn't explain it right, please let me know.

If you want to split off the T1's, you will need a channelized DS3 card

Just to clarify, I need the channelized card in the ONS as well as the 7206, is this correct?

It all depends how your ds3 was ordered, if you are trying to add customers to this router your ds3 should have been ordered with MI3 framing, The ONS is just passing the DS3 to a your router, but preferably you should have a DSX 3 card in between your router and the ONS for troubleshooting purposes
