Just because the GLC-FE-100FX is not compatible with the switch does not mean 3rd party optics won't work either.

Contact FS[.]com and ask them if their GLC-FE-100FX can be re-flashed to work on the SG350.

Hi,
I am looking for a Cisco solution (switch devices) that would support the connection of 48 x Fast Ethernet devices (100Mbps, copper) and 20 x 100Mbps multimode 1310nm LC fiber optic devices. Preferred solution is stackable switches, but main factor is price.
I think I found the only compatible SFP modules for this purpose (GLC-FE-100FX) and I am looking for a switch from the current sales line (it must be new) that is compatible with them.

What is the budget for the switch?

Well, I'm looking for a cheapest working solution according to description above. It must be Cisco. If it's needed assume about $10000

So here are your options:

1.  Switch that supports GLC-FE-100FX and Cisco-branded GLC-FE-100FX:  WS-C3750X-24S

2.  Switch that supports GLC-FE-100FX and 3rd party optics:  C9300-48S + GLC-FE-100FX (FS[.]com)

There is no way Cisco-branded GLC-FE-100FX will (be made to) work with Catalyst 9k switches.

Are you sure that WS-C3750X-24S will support GLC-FE-100FX ? Cause here:

https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/?tpid=39&npf=97

I see WS-C3750-24FS-S model. Are they equal (24S vs 24FS) ?

By Catalyst 9k you mean 9000 series only (not 93xx that will work with GLC-FE-100FX)?

3750X-24S will support both Cisco- and non-Cisco-branded GLC-FE-100FX.

Ask yourself this question:  Are you really sure Cisco branded optics is the way to go here (future-proof your investment)?

Look here:

https://tmgmatrix.cisco.com/?npid=437

There is GLC-GE-100FX only (1Gbps SFP) on the list. So that I'm asking, how do you know GLC-FE-100FX (100Mbps SFP) will work with 3750X-24S?

Because 3rd party optics will re-flash the optics to something that is compatible with any Cisco switch, like GLC-SX-MMD or GLC-LH-SMD.

How do I know?  Because we've used them before!

@tommyz

Please take a look  to this Cisco model:

C9300-24S or 48S
