Fiber Module Combatiability

Hi ,

   I Need to know that is Cisco Switch Module C3850-NM-8-10G is Compatible with Cisco ONS-SI-100-LX10 (Sonet Mux).

I don't believe there are any compatible options.  The closest would be GLC-FE-100LX, but this is not listed as being compatible with a 3850.  I can not see any 3850 SFP's listed as supporting 100LX.  So I think you are out of luck.

Could you suggest any Switch Model with same throughput  ,All i need 8 Fiber port module with 1 GB Capability or more.What i can't change is Cisco ONS-SI-100-LX10 .

Any suggestion.

The compatibility chart says an ASR903 router fitted with a A900-IMA8S is compatible.  A900-IMA8S is an 8 port SFP module.  It's not really a comparable switch to the 3850 though, but if you don't have many options ....

There are also the metro ME3400 Ethernet switches.  Also not a great match.

Perhaps you could use a 3850 to get your Gigabit copper ports, and an ASR903 or a ME3400 to terminate these fibre ports.

Could you upgrade to a Gigabit link?  That gives you a lot more options.
