I have a CSS that if I iniate the ping from a remote host it works. If I iniate the ping from the CSS it does not work. Traceroute works both way. Telnet does not work. I dont have any access-lists. I put a sniffer on the CSS and I see the traffic come in but never leave the CSS. If I iniate the ping from the CSS the sniffer never sees it. It is ackting like it is coming in on port e1 and leaves through another port. I only have a single connection to the CSS. I can telnet, ping, and trace from any router in the network. But when I try it from the switches or computer hosts it gets to the CSS but the CSS never responds. Any ideas?
