Hi all,
I see ICMP packet drops between WS-C3750-48P and N77-C7706 via 1G (GLC-SX-MMD).

Start by cleaning the tips of each jumper and fiber termination along the path.
Then check your receive power levels at each end to confirm you are within specification. ("show interface transceiver")

Thanks. I've swapped GBICs/cables at both ends and it is the same result.
I've found an interesting thread.

Now I'm unable to modify the class-map, I think I might need to use a lenient service-policy or copy the existing policy and apply the modified policy-map.
Any thoughts?
NX-OS version 6.2(8a).

Yes, control plane policing can definitely cause ICMP packet drops.
I don't reply on icmp as a definitive indicator of link availability or reliability for many reasons, this included. Is there any problem with user traffic? If not, I'd let it go as non-service-impacting.
