Hi everyone
I have an ME 4624 RGGW ONT which i want to test and connect it directly with a ME3400 Cisco Switch. Is able the router to support this connection (p2p) or is only capable for p2m(GPON) .As i see in its documentation it doesnt mention anywhere that it can be connected also with p2p connection. In this case does anyone know if that can be override with a firmware upgrade?
Thanks

"The Cisco ME 4600 Multiservice Optical Access Platform includes reliable ONT devices designed for optical fiber network infrastructures in either point-to-point (P2P) or point-to-multipoint (P2MP) topologies."

Thanks for replying
Just for your information, if anyone else has the same issue with this ONT it must be noticed that in order to establish p2p connection is necessary to install new firmware to it.
Thanks
