I have to upgrade a R10.3.02 network to TNCS-2 cards, and to do that, I first have to upgrade the software to 11.x. I see that in the TNCS-2 upgrade procedure, you must delete OSC to be able to delete the card to replace it.
In R9.x, you always had to delete all the circuits on a span to be able to delete OSC. In R10.x, at some point, we gained the ability to delete and recreate OSC without deleting all the circuits. In which release is this feature added?
If it's after R10.3.02, then I'm going to have to do multiple upgrades, and I'd like to avoid doing this.

I realize now that the answer to my question doesn’t matter with respect to upgrading to TNCS-2. I would just upgrade, delete OSC, and exchange the cards. But I’d still like to like to know when the ability to delete OSC without deleting the circuits was introduced.

I found that I can delete OSC without first deleting circuits at R10.3.02.
