New SFP Connection

Hello,  We are getting a new SFP connection installed between two C9200L-48T-4G-E V1 switches.  We are going to be using the 1G transceiver ports.  The installer said we would need to configure the switches.  I've been searching to see what configuration is needed in the switches if any.  So far i haven't been able to find anything other than instructions on plugging in the transceivers.  Are there any documents or knowledge base articles with configuration information?

Hello, thanks for the reply.  And we did not need to do any configuration even though it wasn't a WAN link.  We did need to flip the cables around at one end to get the receive and transmit lined up correctly.

Installing SFP does not need configuration if this is connecting to Uplink to service provider or WAN Link.

you need to configure the port based on the requirement, like VLAN or  Layer 3 with IP address information.

make sense? if not please explain more to understand your requirements.
