Hi,

i have catalyst express 500 switch with transceivers modules GLC-SX-MM, 1000BASE-SX SFP.

Is possible to change the speed of this transceivers to 100Mbit?

... i need it know, because on other side of link is a opical/metallic converter ( AT-MC101XL

I think converter and tranciever are not compatible. Isn`t it?

Unfortunately, the GLC-SX-MM is not switchable to 100Mb operation. You need to purchase a 100Base-FX SFP module for your switch.

According to the following document, these are the 100Mb interfaces compatible with the Express 500:

GLC-GE-100FX

GLC-FE-100FX

GLC-FE-100LX

GLC-FE-100BX-D

GLC-FE-100BX-U
