SFP module compatibility on Nexus 3048

Hi all,

I have some doubt regarding compatibility of SFP module (GLC-SX-MMD) in SFP+ port in Nexus switch 3000 series

The switch Nexus 3048 have SFP+ port, the compatibility matrix reported in data sheet document does not report the compatibility with GLC-SX-MMD module:

But in the " Cisco Digital Optical Monitoring Compatibility Matrix" document seems this module be compatible:

Could you please help me to clear this doubt?

The switch data sheets aren't always exhaustive with respect to the list of supported transceivers.

The best source is the transceiver compatibility matrix. That matrix:

...indicates the Nexus 3000 series, including the N3K-C3048TP-1GE, is compatible with the GLC-SX-MMD.
