What is the difference between SNCP and MSP Linear .

Is there any other protection type?

SNCP is used for path protection (higher order/lower order), it is based on the concept of dual fed and selective receive.

Linear MSP is used for section protection like port protection schemes (1+1,1:1&1:N).
