15 Second delay

3.0 is loaded on Unity with 3.2 of CCM. When I go to VM I show that the call is forwarded to VM, but it takes 15 seconds to connect to standard greeting. I upgraded TSP to 6.0.1 and made sure that switch integration is Cisco and it is. Any other ideas?

Shelly Cairns
Telephony Applications Engineer
952-967-8556

Check the switch type on your switch configuration page in Unity... make sure it's set for CM and not "default"... what you describe is a common problem where folks leave the switch type at default.

Sorry, but that is what I meant by switch integration. I did check the switch type and it is Cisco. I do have the two port system running right now with no key and it shows 2 switches. Should it show both switches, or should I just have the Cisco switch type (IP Switch)? If so, how do I get rid of the other switch. FYI -This is NOT at a customer site.

when in demo mode (i.e. no key attached) we come up with "multiple" as the integration type which allows all integrations to be active. Make sure your IP switch is configured properly (on the switch page in the SA) and that both ports are assigned to that switch (you can check this on the ports page in the SA). You should have no ports assigned to the analog switch (legacy PBX).
