2950 with IP Phone

Hi to All

My question is Can i connect my 2950 swicth to 7905 IP phone .

If YES than Do i need extra adapter for the phone .

If NO than Wat other layer 2 switch is suitable.

I think you are asking if the 2950 can provide power to the 7905 and the answer is no. There are several options such as Catalyst 3550-24 PWR that can provide inline-power to phones http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps646/ps4882/index.html

For 7905, you can either use Inline power from a swithc, or get an external power supply part number CP-PWR-CUBE-3=, power cable part number is dependant on where you are at.
