I am receiving the following errors when trying to upgrade to 3.1.4. Anyone know what is going on here.

It looks like for whatever reason the monitor migration DLL didn't get registered on the box during the update... Check the Cd for a file named "AvMigrateDSADSvr.DLL" and try registering it somewhere on the HD (not under CommServer... make a temp directory somewhere) then running the upgrade again.
There were some similiar bugs like this a while back where there'd be an error registering a file or a file was removed during upgrade that was needed later etc... I'm wondering if this is something similiar. If this works, can you send me the entire TEMPU.LOG (or attach it to the ticket your working on and send me the ID of the ticket) so I can pass it on to the setup guys.

I found the file on the CD and put it into a directory called C:\commtemp, then I ran "regsvr32 AvMigrateDSADSvr.DLL" and it registered. This did not help and I still have the message appearing saying "Unable to upgrade Application Data" and setup quits. I read the MS Article below from Keith and I doubt it applies although I did refresh in AD Users and Computers. Any other ideas on what I might try. I will email you the entire tempu.log.

I'll take a look at the tempu.log... I'll probably have to run this by the setup folks tomorrow.

follow up on this... Chris is going to post a tech note for something that looks similiar to the problem you report here. Here's the body of his note:
==================
While upgrading Cisco Unity, the setup stops and posts an error Failed to upgrade Application Data. This error may pop up for various reasons, to confirm that this tech note will address your issue, open the migration.log file and search for the error listed below in bold in the sample migration.log file.
The migration.log file can typically be found in the C:\Documents and Settings\

If you received this error message while running Cisco Unity setup and show a different failure in the migration.log file, see the following defect to see if it is related to your issue CSCdx33260. Otherwise contact TAC and provide them with the Tempu.log as well as the Migration.log files.
For more details on the issue described in this writing, see the following defect CSCdx87461.
Problem
The following registry key value is empty, causing migration setup to fail:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Active Voice\Directory Connectors\DirSynchAD\1.00\Domains\

Solution
Copy the value from the following registry key and paste it into the empty registry key value noted above, then run Cisco Unity setup again.
