7936 clips speech on Meet-me-conf calls

I have a problem with some 7936 conf phones. System is CCM4.1(3)SR2. when you make a straight call from a 7936 to another IP phone then the conversation is good. However, if you initiate a meet me conf call from the 7936 even though you can hear others OK the person on the 7936 voice is clipped. I have the latest phoneload installed and this has made no difference.

Which codec is configured between the CONF bridge and the 7936.

The CONF is an internal one (only IP Phones) or PSTN users are involved.

The CONF bridge in use is a SW or HW one?

The 7936 uses G711

Clipping occurs on both internal and PSTN conferences although other users within the conference can hear each other OK.

The conference bridge is a HW one.

I have 12.4.6T image on the gateway and phoneload CMTERM-7936.3-3-10-0 on the 7936.

Hi,

It sounds suspiciously like a bug though i couldn't find anything relating to this on the bug tool kit.

I would probably try downloading the code to an earlier version to see if that makes any different.

I am using 3.3.9 which for us has no issues.

I thought I had upgraded to 3-3-10-0 as that is what is in device defaults but the 7936's kept 3-3-8-0 for some reason. This has now been resolved and the phones are now on 10-0 and we have the site on monitor now.

I will post if this is resolved now.
