Can I use 7941G/7961G firmware for new cisco phone 7942G/7962G?

Hi Irfan,
No, these are different firmwares. They may look similar but note the difference in these examples;
For the 7942/7962
SCCP42.8-3-4SR1S
For the 7941/7961
SCCP41.8-3-4SR1S

Thanks, But even after that if I use the older version of firmware SCCP41.8-3-4SR1S the new phone 7942/7962 not going to be functional?

You need to use the SPECIFIC FW for phone models, few phones like 7940/60 share the same file.
Go to downloads at cisco and you'll get the current versions PER DEVICE MODEL
Simply download the ones for the right models you have
