7960 IP Phone SIP Configuration

Hello,

I'm trying to setup my 7960 IP phone for SIP.

From the instructions, I can type **# to change the phone mode to Unlock.

Howeaver, when i type **#, the phone appers to remain in Lock Mode.

Any Idea whan I'm missing?

Also, how do you enter the '@' character when entering a URL?

Back all the way out of Network Configuration mode and then try the sequence. If you are using later versions of SIP (7.2), you will have to go to the 'unlock' entry and type in the default password.

You should be to find the @ character at the 0(oper) button when entering teh URL
