7960,SCCP upgrde software

Hi !

I tryig to upgrade SCCP software on my new 7960 Cisco Ip phone from default (App Load ID P003AM30,Boot Load ID PC030300). I using procedure ,described at http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_ipphon/english/ipp7960/addprot/mgcp/frmwrup.htm#wp1054055

(Procedure A)

I DONT HAVE CALL MANAGER FOR UPGRADE.

What I have:

1 valid dhcp server , that assign ip address to phone ,transmit correct option 150 , domain-name , dns , bla-bla-bla

2 valid tftp server with files :

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 19 Feb 4 18:25 OS79XX.TXT

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 124732 Feb 4 14:16 P00306000400.bin

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 461 Feb 4 14:16 P00306000400.loads

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 619204 Feb 4 14:16 P00306000400.sb2

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 125136 Feb 4 14:16 P00306000400.sbn

phone obtain correct ip address and go to tftp .

in log-files I see :

/var/tftp# tail -f /var/log/messages.log

and so on ...

# cat OS79XX.TXT

P00306000400

(I trying P00306000400.bin , ... )

Also in our corporate DNS server I have A record

CiscoCCM1 , pointed at <tftp-server-ip-address>

Question is - how can I upgrade software on my new Cisco IP Phone(S) 7960 ?

Thank you !

I've never done any upgrade without a server, but considering that the CCM Simulator actually permits other phones to be connected than the 7960 (I'm afraid I don't have the link to the appropropriate forum posts right now), I suppose it should be possible to use the CCM simulator, put the proper firmware there and have the phone connect to the simulator and download the phone load.
