HI team
i find accessing the personal Address book (PAB) is extremely time consuming having to go through directories>PAB>select >PAB>select and then start the selection process..is there any quicker way of accessing the PAB directory ? may be assign a one touch key or a soft key ? as the current set up is not very practical to users ?
i am using Cico IP telephone 7970 and 7945 using CM version 6.0.
please advise , thank you

Assigning a PAB service to a line button
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------
- Create a customized phone button template to have 'Service URL' assigned
to one of line buttons (administrator)
- Configure the phone with the customized template (administrator)
- ccmuser must jhave been configured to control the phone (in Device
Association field of End User Configuration web page)
- Subscribe the phone to the PAB service (administrator or ccmuser)
- Add the PAB service to the Service URL button (ccmuser):
-- login to CUCM as a ccmuser
-- select User Options -> Device
-- click on the Service URL softkey
-- select PAB service from a list for Button Service that shows up after a
click
on a down arrow there
-- click on the Save softkey
-- click on the Reset softkey to show a Device Reset window
-- click on the Restart softkey in the Device Reset window
-- then click on Close there.
The PAB service label should now be showing up on the phone screen in
proximity to the line button that has been assigned the 'Service URL'.
Press this button on the phone to use the PAB service this way.
Please rate if it helps!
