ATA 186 2 ports calling

Hi !

ATA 186 with 2 ports witn newest software could make 2 calls simoulteniously.

My settings are next :

LBRCodec: 0

RxCodec: 0

TxCodec: 0

ATA186 is registered with 3640 Gatekeeper and after

that calls are routed to my providers gateway.

Providers gateways supports all possible codecs.

They have defined voice class with all codecs,

G723g53, G723g, etc.

It is critical to make ATA186 calling simoulteniously from both ports.

Any ideas, suggestions, configs ?

I have made a point to point connection between two ATA-186 units (so, no GK in the play). I could make two simultaneous calls (G.723.1 - LBRCodec=RxCodec=TxCodec=0). I think this will not help you any much, but that's the result I have so far. The datasheet says it can't support two concurrent G.729A calls though.

By the way, in the near future, I'll have to go for a GK. I wonder whether it was tricky or easy for you to configure the 3640 to deal with the ATA-186.
