ATA 186 and Cisco 3524 switch issue

Hi,

My problem is:

If I connect a Cisco ATA 186 to one of the Cisco 3524, My ATA can not get the IP address from then Voice IP range.

I tried anothe mode 3550 switch with the same config. It works!

Anybody have the same issue?

3524 is a L2 need to be used with a external router,

3550 is a L3 , no need of router.
