ATA 186 w/skinny and Callmanager 3.2.2

I was wondering if there is documentation regarding the 2 mac addresses that pop up for the 2 lines when you auto register. Where does the second mac come from. I tried to put another phone on the 2nd mac but it would not function. Has anyone had success with having to phones on one adapter? When we tried to get them to work recently and a while ago, only one line would work at a time.

When you use an ata186 with 2.15ms software it will have a seperate phone entrie for each line. The second line uses a mac address with the first two digits stripped and 01 at the end and is build from the original mac address of the ata.

If you do an auto-reg both lines should work fine.

I haven't checked caveats. For us it works fine with 3.2.2c-SPe or SPf
