Hi,
We installed an ATA 186 and it is working fine but sometimes the calls placed through the router remains up forever. This happens with any type of interfaces FXO, FXS, E&M. Can anyone help me.

Questions that arise to me immediatly:
- What software version do you run on the ATA?
- What kind of signalling, SIP, MGCP, H.323
- What kind of router?
- Which IOS version?
- Did you configure QoS on your network?
- Do you see this problem on specific calls, like only international calls, or only when the other side disconnect first?
That would be very usefull information to collect and narrow down the possibilities. Right now it can be almost anything. But not disconnecting a call souns like a signalling problem to me, so I would investigate that first. Second thing is checking for bug-IDs on the IOS version you run on the router, because there are a lot bugs out there.
