I have a client with a BE6K on a C220 server platform and one of the hard drives have failed. The system is not under a support contract so cannot log a case with TAC.
I would just like to know if the customer can purchase any Hard drive to replace the faulty disk or if it has to be a specific model, and does it have to be purchased from Cisco. I cannot find a vendor to provide the disk that is currently in the server, i.e.
Seagate Constellation.2
P/N: 9RZ164-175
500GB, 2.5in, 7.2K RPM, SATA, HDD
Can I replace it with any 500GB SATA drive and does the RPM need to match as well?
