broadcast message from CCM or Unity

Looking for a feature which a server can generate a broadcast message to a group of ip phone users. For example, the marketing manager create a message and broadcast to her group for the product info update. Came across that Cisco Unity have this feature. Is this correct? Currently we are only running CCM v4.1(3) with third party email system.

Yes, you can create Public Distribution Lists in Unity to accomplish this. You could also use a 3rd party product such as Berbee's Informacast which can broadcast a prerecorded or live message using the speakers of the IP phones. Please see the links below.
