I've got a 4.1 call mgr with 2801 mgcp gateways. Customer bought a ATT megacom PRI, using 4ESS. Testing the ckt., ATT tech says I have to send them the calling type=international and strip out the 011 from the dialed digits. The only way I've been able to send them the type international is to set the ie plan type in the gateway setting. That works for the international calls, but none of the non-international calls work since the type always says international.
Does anyone know where I can set the type for international, only when I make an int'l call?
The route patterns have the network service protocol set to 4ESS and the network service set to Megacom.

Hi Rob,
Try setting setting the type to national and do not strip the 011. This should route your int'l calls correctly as well as local and LD. I have had this work many times when using ATT Pri's.
thanks

Steven:
Thanks, but I've tried that and the call still fails. debug shows call type=national with a casue code =0x8381 - unallocated/unassigned number.
I know the number is valid, working number.
