Hi there,

We know that the account "sa" is the most powerful account for accessing the database. May I ask that is there account just with read only privilege for accessing SQL 2000 database in a Call Manager?

If there is no such account, may I ask the way how to create a read account for accessing SQL 2000 database?

thanks a lot

David

Within Call Manager, you could use Multilevel Administration (MLA) to control user privelege:

Multilevel administration access provides multiple levels of security to Cisco CallManager Administration. This technique permits granting only the required privileges for a selected group of users and limits the configuration functions that users in a particular user group can perform.

If you want to go in to SQL directly and do queries, that is a different case, I can't suggest anything there..
