We setup Unity 12 and I am bit new to Unity so bare with me. I set up the distribution groups and can get them to work from any users mailbox by having them login and select option 2 to leave a message, etc... but what I am looking for is a way to have a non unity user dial a number where they get a greeting "Please enter the distribution group you would like to leave a message for", and then when the user dials the distribution group, they are able to leave a message. This message could be for any mailbox too. I was able to get that to work with a Directory Handler but it doesn't recognize the extension of the Distribution Group.
I work in a hospital system that has several users out in the field and they never come into the office. Some of these users only work from cell phones. We have distribution groups setup so the users can leave messages for groups of people in their office. Our current system treats a distribution group like any other mailbox. When you dial the distribution group, you are able to leave a message. I was hoping I can get this to work with Unity too.
Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Anthon, yes I did. I had to create a distribution group with members. Then I had to create a system call handler with the extension I wanted for the distribution group. In the call handler message settings, I had to select distribution list option and select the distribution group I wanted the messages to route to.
