I have a valid CCNP Voice certification, and I need to take CCIE Collaboration, my question is if I can go through CCIE directly or I need to migrate the CCNP Voice to CCNP Collaboration first ???

Hi Ahmed,
You can go directly to the CCIE Collaboration;
There are no formal prerequisites for CCIE certification. Other professional certifications or training courses are not required. Instead, candidates must first pass a written qualification exam and then the corresponding hands-on lab exam. You are expected to have an in-depth understanding of the topics on the exams and strongly encouraged to have three to five years of job experience before attempting certification.

Thanks a lot Rob for your answer, if I pass CCIE the CCNP Voice will migrate automatically to CCNP Collaboration or not ???
Thanks
Ahmed

Hi Ahmed,
First off, you are most welcome my friend!
Passing the CCIE Collab would have no bearing on the CCNP Collab.
If you currently hold a valid CCNP-Voice (no matter what exams were used in the past to achieve the certification) you will only need to take and pass the 300-075 CIPTV2 to become CCNP-Collab certified.
Cheers!
Rob

The CCIE Collaboration certification is for Collaboration Architects, Unified Communications Architects, or Voice and Video Network Managers who are responsible for the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex collaboration solutions.
