My name is Syed Faisal Naseem. I am doing ccna certification. Right now I am self studying. The books currently I am having is Wendell odom official guide and exam cram and some cbt nuggets videos. I just want to ask that the questions in ccna comes from these books only. I mean if I read thoroughly these above mentioned books specially (ccna official guide) and cbt nuggets. its enough?
and 2nd question is. whether I go directly for ccna exam or ccent first? because in ccna 60-70 in 90 minutes and total 120 questions in ICND1 & 2 (60 each) and cost is also high.
Thanks

Hi there,
I achieved my CCNA with just the cert guide and a pair of 1841 routers. Incidentally for my CCNP R&S I ditched the physical hardware and did all my labs in GNS3.
With those two tools you should be good for a pass!
Of the exam paths since I was new to networking and had no idea how hard the exams would be I opted for the ICND1&2 route. At least that way the exams have a tighter focus on 50% of the syllabus...but like you say you end up facing double the number of questions!
Good luck.
cheers,
Seb.
