Has anyone use the Cisco Express 500 PoE strictly for VoIP? Any thoughts or experiences with this particular switch would greatly help.
Thanks,
Jerome

Hi Jerome,
We bought a 500 Express for our lab a while back to test with and evaluate. It could be used in a small office environment for VoIP but if it were me I would spend the extra $$ for an upgraded model. Didn't love the Gui-only interface and the ports locked up fairly often. Here are 4 other threads that talk about the pros/cons of the Cisco Express 500 (good and bad);
Hope this helps! And good luck!

Yup, I saw 2 of those threads before but not the other 2. I have personally configured this switch before but not with PoE. After reading the other threads, it makes me cautious in purchasing 4 PoE switches in the corp environment. I also didn't like the GUI only interface.
Thanks Rob.
