Cisco IP Telephony test environment

Guys and dolls, in my company we are about to set up a IP Telephony and VoIP test- and training environment. Part of the set up will be at least a Call Manager and a gateway. In the light of developments in the field of IPT and VoIP what should our test environment contain at least and what is desirable. Thanks for the feedback.

Well, ideally your test environment should reflect your production as much as possible. You definitely need CCM, the GW with PRI if that what you will use in production. Unity if you are going to use it. And all other components that you are planning to use in production, ie. IPCC, Analog GW (VG224,248, ATA), Cisco Emergency Responder, etc.
