Hi,
I'm becoming more interesed with CIPT, i have been in IT over 8yrs and CCNP/CSPFA qualified. What would you recommend as to which courses to take and what is the best ways in getting to CIPT without Previous/little exp, Cisco provide E-learing for CIPT1), which i have access to.

Take CVOICE, QOS and CIPT. That takes care of callmanager/gateways, phones etc. For voice mail, CUSE is a good one. For advanced courses, take CUDN (Unity Design)
To learn IPCC, IPCC*IVR training is a good start.

I agree with Sankar, I would start with CVOICE just because it is not Cisco product specific course/exam, it deals with standard VoIP protocols, TDM signaling, gateway configuration, etc. Since you already have CCNP QoS should be a breeze. CIPT is CallManager course, so it might take little more studying. Another good courses are IPTT, and GW/GK. These five exams are requirements for CCVP. Also, again as Sankar mentioned if you want to learn other applications such as Unity voice mail, IPCC contact center both enterprise and express there are multiple courses for that.
I started my studies couple of years ago with Cisco press books, cisco.com, and real Callmanager and gateways.

Chris,
Are you a CCVP yet ? I am currently working on GWGK.

Yes, I am. I passed the GWGK couple of weeks after it was announced. I had passed the other 4 exams earlier. I am studying for my CCIE-voice lab now after passing the written last September. The GWGK exam is easy if you have expereice with GWs and GKs. Couple of sims on configuring basic 2 zone GK and h323 Gateways.

I still have my IPTT after my GWGK..to get the CCVP. Seems like Cisco is increasing the number of tests you need to take to get hold of a single Cert title.
