Cisco Meeting Server Licensing

Hello guys,

we would like to deploy CMS in Gateway mode, that will transfer calling between CUCM and Skype for Business On-Prem.

Our customer has bought CUWL PRO already so we have PMP plus licenses.

Do we need SMP licenses also or not for this feature? I have searched in Ordering guide https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/products/collateral/conferencing/webex-telepresence/guide-c07-730707.pdf but no information about it.

Do you have some experience?

Thank you

Karel

Correct. Also, I was not aware that you could still purchase UWL Pro licenses. AFAIK they were retired and were replaced by UWL Meetings licenses which includes PMP+.

It depends. PMP+ are on a per user basis. SMP+ would be for something like a conference room/TP room where a group of people who don't have a video endpoint of their own can use the system for calls.

Thank you for quick reply.
So if I will attach conference devices with CUWL PRO users (as owned device), all will be OK through PMP+ license?

Thx

Yes, sorry, customer will upgrade from PRO to MTG.

Thank you!
