Cisco Room Bar / Room Bar Pro connecting to Audio Receivers

jringelstetter

Hello,

My company is looking for new conference room devices to deploy, and the Cisco Room Bar/ Pro checks most of the boxes. The only question that hasn't been addressed is using audio receivers tied into whole-room audio. We have three rooms that use audio receivers due to ceiling-mounted speakers and their size. Has anyone else experienced this scenario and successfully used the room bars with in-place receivers? If so, how easily can the Room bar be integrated?

Thanks

The Bar Pro has an analog line out, so that’s straight forward. The Bar is meant for small rooms (furthest participant within three meters) that should not need external speakers.

I didn't get your question well, however, I think you are in process to choose one of Cisco Room series devices for your meeting room, I suggest to you to check  Cisco Webex Work Spaces tool to find  the suitable room device that can cover your meeting room requirements, please consider camera and microphones coverage, also check data sheets for each product and check type of audio output from Cisco room device that will be supported as audio input to the audio receiver. for me many cases we connected the HDMI output from Cisco room kit plus or pro to the third party AV controller such as Creston as HDMI input, then from the controller normal analog output to external speakers  and the HDMI output to the screen

Please note that Room Bar is similar to Room Kit Mini that used for small meeting rooms only.
