Cisco VG248 and Night Bell issue

Migration from Avaya phone system to Cisco and have to interface a night bell. The Avaya phone system had a port configured as a Bell Type port. You would dial and extension say 2300 then the ring would be amplified overhead on a warehouse floor. Wondering how to configure the VG248 to interface this night bell that just plays a loud ring on overhead speakers when the extension is dialed. I setup the extension on a port on the vg248 but when I dial the phone rings but the night bell does not. Anyone have any information on where I should start?

Thanks

The ring voltage from the VG248 is around 46Vrms with 16VDC offset. It is possible the night bell system may not sense this ring voltage (the VG248 is within 'normal ring volatge specs).

You may need a line ring booster such as this one -

cool thanks for the link. The customers relay had an option to drop the input voltage. We tried that and the VG248 was able provide enough to make it ring.

Thanks for your help on this.
