Communicator cannot find locale

Hi,

I installed Cisco Communicator, also I have CCM 3.3.4. After the communicator started it cannot find its locale (Error Message: Error Updating Locale). Also it looks for files (7980-kate.xml, 7980-dictionary.xml, SCCP-dictionary.utf-8.xml, Unicode.font, 7980-tones.xml), but all these files does not exists in the TFTP directory.

Did I forget to install something, installed too much or is that a normal behavior of the communicator?

User locale and network locale are set on English United States.

Thanks for your answers in advance.

Heiko

before using the ip comunicator, special software, including the specific local must be install on publisher. have you done so?

if not, read the read me file included in the zip file downloadable from cco for ip comunicator

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

I installed on the publisher the following files: CiscoIPCommunicatorAdminToolSetup.exe and cmterm-CIPC.CIPC-1-1-1-0.exe.

When I look up in the communicator "Settings - Model Information" under menu item 2: "Cisco IP Communicator_Default".

The files I mentioned before does not exist on my publisher at all.

Any other ideas?
