Conference Phone Soft Key

Can the soft keys of the 7936 phone be changed? I want to have the Meet Me key as a soft key and not a menu item.

yep,

change the soft key button template assigned to the device - in the CCM!

The 7936 does not have a softkey template field in CCM like other phones. I went ahead and created a hardware device pool for my 7936s and assigned my modified template to the pool. Next, I assigned my 36s to the new pool and restarted the devices. Still I can not seem to get a MeetMe softkey on the 36s. Any thoughts?

The answer from Cisco is the 7936 doesn't support custom soft keys.

found this in another forum. The Meetme choice is in the menus of the 7936. I can't try it out on our system yet.

1. press the pick up handset to get dial tone

2. Press Menu button -> Call functions (select button) -> Meet Me (Select

button)

3. Enter the meet me number.
