Hi,
I am new to SIP and have a question about setup. Any help is appreciated greatly!
Currently all of my 7960 phones register to Callmanager via SCCP. All outbound calls are routed out to the PSTN via MGCP gateways over PRI's.
I am looking to setup toll bypass by sending some of my outbound calls to VoIP carriers via SIP.
I'm basically trying to confirm what I think I need to do to get this going.
I'm guessing:
SIP Trunk on CM pointing to SIP Proxy Server
Route patterns of calls I want to send to voip carriers pointing to the SIP Trunk
SIP Proxy Server to route these calls over IP network
IP connectivity to VoIP carrier.
Some type of NATing for the phones.
Have I covered all my bases? Am I missing anything?
Thanks again for any help!
Mike
