with Jabber 12.8 there is no possibility to have fixed order of contacts. Also new conversations are on top but it whould be great to have possibility to change this in Settings.
Maybe I’m reading your post wrong, but I cannot see that you ask any question. What are you intending to ask about?
This can be threated as feature request if there is someone from Jabber devel team here.
It will be great if there is possibility to manage this in Settings.
When there is a change of default behaviour then it should be possible to change back in settings.
For feature requests you'd need to engage with your account team at Cisco for them to raise the request. Posting it i this community will not add it to the backlog. You can also if applicable add it as a Product Enhancement Idea in the collaboration track in CCP, Customer Connection Community, if you're a member in that.
