Funny thing happening at my client. Users with headphone are hearing their own conversation through the speakerphone.
Firmware has been updated on the IP phone 7940.
Anybody knows about this ? Is the only solution to disable the speakerphone ?

Hello .
I experienced the same problem in a call center.Agents used Plantronics headsets but they let the handset in the cradle.Since we removed the handset,we got no more voice coming out of the speakerphone during a conversation.
Try that if it is the case.

We experience the same problem when using GN Netcom 9120 wireless headsets. The fix (for us) was to lower the transmit volume on the headset.
