Create New User in Cisco Unity

 Hi,

I am new in Cisco Unity.I am configuring user in unity through import user from either cucm or ldap.

In the user tab I am also can Create user through click on new user but when I am creating using this the user is not reflecting as end user in cucm.

My question is when I will use this feature new user in Cisco Unity?

If the question is: if you create a local user in CUC, should it automagically create a user in CUCM, the answer is no.

I want to know that in what circumstances we will use this user?

Please share some ideas

And one more thing if we create user local how can I get  the voice mail?

The only difference is that the authentication for a local user will depend on CUC server and not on LDAP, everything else, works the same way.
