CUBE smart license

Hello Experts,

I have recently upgraded my CUBE to version 16.12.7 which supports smart licensing. I have configured license command under global SIP config however when I checked show license all command the output shows double the number of licenses I configured under SIP . Any suggestion if this is an expected behaviour ,if not any idea how to fix it ?

Not an actual answer to your question, but I would suggest that you upgrade to a newer version that supports pooling of licenses so that you don’t need to specify a number under global configuration. In the past year there has been many posts where 17.6.4 has been mentioned as a stable version. We use it on our 130+ ISR 4K voice gateways.

Thanks Roger, unfortunately upgrade is not an immediate option for us.

Any specific reason for why you cannot update? You’re version is quite old and likely to be deprecated quite soon, if not already so.

We have a dependency with one of the modules on the device as its not compatible with latest IOS-XE versions hence we need to replace the module before planning the upgrade.
