Hello out there,
Following problem:
I need to have a call queue in CUCM BE 6 with music, BUT without using the attendant console!!
We do not want to use the console.
Situation is as follows: Calls come in, Unity Connection plays the welcome prompt (according to the weekday schedule), then releases to the switch, means forwards the call to a broadcast huntgroup in CM. At this point we need to have music, until anyone takes the call (independet if a extension in the group is busy or not)!
For sure, we could use Unity connection for playing music in a supervised transfer, but if we do so, the number of the call is not shown in the display of the phones (and further not in the CTI system incl. unified presence). Therefore we can not use this way...
Does anyone have an idea?

The integrated Music On Hold (MOH) feature allows users to place on-net and off-net users on hold with music that is streamed from a streaming source. The Music On Hold feature allows two types of hold:
1)End-user hold
2)Network hold, which includes transfer hold, conference hold, and call park hold

unfortunately you already know the options but you mention they are not what you want. no other config on CUCM can create a Q and play MOH other than AC.
CUC with the transfer is the other option but you mention it's no good
only other thing could do this would be implementing UCCX because you're out of option on CUCM and CUC/unity side

As mentioned by Java, we do not have more options than the ones that you just described, the only way to accomplish this task will be to have an IVR to do the queueing.
Please let us know how it goes!
