DDI Problem

Morning All,

Can anybody tell me if there is a way to stop a phone from using DDI. I have a colleague that is receiving phone calls to her DDI from people who are withholding their number and then hanging up. Is there a way to stop her receiving calls directly (just on her phone not everyone’s)?

A discard digits instruction (DDI) removes a portion of the dialed digit string before passing the number on to the adjacent system. But then I wonder if it removes the whole number. May be this is blocking the Caller ID or disabling the Caller ID. There is no way to decode it back to the original number. May be you may have to configure on the CallManager to track such numbers. You can check the traces on the Callmanager for that number.
