Definity PBX integration - Can I transfer direct to voicemail?

Any recommendations on how to transfer direct to voicemail through the PBX. From the callmanager (V 3.3) we can do the # plus the extension to transfer to a subscriber. I am looking for any way to do something similar through the Definity to Unity. I saw some article about using #2 after doing a tranfer, but that doesn't seem to work. Any ideas would be appreciated.

This can be done in two ways.

1. You can configure your PBX to route the call to voicemail directly when we transfer the call to #7777 (where 7777 is your mailbox number of a subscriber). Thats what we do with call manager. You can check out this link which will help you understand the theory behind it.

2. You can put the call on hold by hitting transfer and call unity and then enter 7777#2 if you are in the main greeting or #7777#2 if you are in any other menu and then complete the transfer. This might help you understand it more.
