DHCP and/or DNS server on CallManager

Hi, we are going to build a cluster with 4xccm-server.(ccm3.3(2))

1 is glasshouse pub/TFTP, 2 are subscribers for primary call-processing and 1 is backup subscriber for the 2 primary subs.

There are 2000 phones and 4000 device-profiles...

Is it supported to run DHCP and/or DNS server on the PUB for the whole cluster? Does it influence the performance of the CCM?

Sascha,

I guess the DHCP or DNS server shouldn't influence the performance of the CCM. You can easily configure DHCP and DNS server for 2000 phones and 4000 device-profiles. This shouldn’t create any problems as such. There is no limitation on the CCM side, if the DHCP server has a pool of IP addresses, which can suffice all the devices, then there should be no problem at all for the CCM.
