Difference between Pin and Password under User settings

Folks,

Could someone please tell me the difference between PIN and Password settings under the User Menu. Also what is the URL to access the user configuration page.

Password is typically for CCMUSER page and PIN is for Extension Mobility.

A PIN is typically used by a service such a extension mobility to log on a user.

The username is used for authentication for things like softphone and and logging onto the userpage.

They are both used for user authentication, it just depends on which one the particular app is looking for.
