Disable Reset to Factory Default Option

The 7920's seem to have too many features available to the end-users. For example, I would like to disable the "Reset to Factory Default" and the entire network configuration menu. These are all on by default. I can access the admin mode but there is nothing there to disable specific features. I noticed in another conversation someone didn't realize how to turn these features on....I didn't know you could turn them off.

I would appreciate any help.

Hi Nancy,

have the same Problem with this 7920 phones. I put a service request to TAC. They told me, up to now there is no possibility to disable acces to configuration menue. In summer there will be a Firmware which allows altering the config only after entering **# like on 7940/60. At this time there is no plan to protect the settings with a pin code.

I would like to invite all people with the same problem to force CISCO via a business case to get an option with pin protected setting menue.
